#ethical AI

National AI Centre’s Artificial Intelligence Leadership Summit

Leaders from around the country flew into Sydney last Thursday to help drive Australia's artificial intelligence (AI) opportunity at the National AI Centre's (NAIC) AI Leadership Summit.

Responsible AI

Meet our Responsible AI Science leaders

There are many benefits to Artificial Intelligence (AI) - it can make fast work of huge amounts of data, speed up processes, and collaborate with humans to provide a better outcome than either could create on their own. However, if not done ethically, the development of AI technology can come with significant risks. For this reason, the development of responsible AI sits at the heart of our work and we have brought together one of the largest groups of responsible AI researchers in the country. Meet the science leaders guiding this work.

Meet Prof Didar Zowghi, Software Engineer for AI and AI Diversity and Inclusiveness

Introducing Prof Didar Zowghi, CSIRO's Data61's newly appointed Software Engineering for AI Lead. A leader in human-centric technology design and a renowned information technology educator, Professor Zowghi joins Data61 in January from the University of Technology. Here, she shares her career journey and highlights, goals for her new role, AI insights, and advice on pursuing a career in tech.

At CSIRO, we solve the greatest challenges through innovative science and technology.
